Produced image by image, like cartoons, the videos presented by Christelle Familiari draw imaginary spaces, of self-abandonment, of the body. They reuse and act upon those spaces of reveries induced by the manual realization of the works where the hand is at the foremost and progressively shapes the threaded volumes that she creates.

On the occasion of the Contemporary Drawing fair, Christelle Familiari presents graphic works made up of collages taken from fashion magazines. These works, highly graphic, perfectly illustrate the vastness of the field in which contemporary drawing can be situated, and that here lays claim to its enrolling of all possible supports and all procedures.
